Firstly id like to apologise for my lack of blogging recently. Things have been so fast-paced at the salon that I haven’t had a spare moment to keep in touch.
Id like to take the opportunity to chat about Wella’s Elements haircare line. This range is completely free from all Sulphates and Parabens.
I know that I have already covered Sulphates and Parabens in a previous blog but i just wanted to go into a bit more detail today as its a common question we get asked in the salon.
What are sulphates and parabens you ask?
Sulphates are are sult derivative and parabens are synthetic acidic preservative chemicals. Studies have shown that some parabens can mimic the hormone estrogen and are often associated with a number of cancers prevalent in our society. And sulphates are known to cause scalp sensitivity, dryness and inflamation in some cases. Sulfates are concerning because they were found to break down proteins, which can lead to a degenerative effect on the cell membranes. Sulfates were also found to leave residue in the heart, lungs, and brain.
If you are at all conscientious about using more natural products this is the productline for you.
This haircare range is ideal for all hair-types. This care system that instantly repairs and prevents keratin degeneration. It leaves the hair nourished and silky without feeling heavy and coated. I recommend this line for all of my clients with finer hair as its light weight feel doesn’t weigh the hair down.
The line consists of a Shampoo, Conditioner and Reparative Mask, Leave in Lightweight Treatment and Hair Strengthening Serum.
The Paraben free leave in dual-phase spray cares and protects hair from day to day stress and gives a gentle hold. The Paraben free power serum that strengthens each existing hair fiber, gives more volume and helps to maintain a balanced scalp.
This is one of the most popular ranges in the salon.
Pop into the salon and have a chat with one of the team members and they can advise the best haircare regimen for needs.
I promise it wont be as long before you hear from me again.
